When is the best time to stretch?
A couple of times to stretch are tried and true. Post workout is a great time since you are warm and loosened up. The body is pliable and ready to relax. First thing in the morning is a good way to start your day. It will help get the blood flowing and loosen you up to get for your day. Stretch BEFORE going to bed
One really great way to help you sleep better, improve your flexibility and help calm you down from the day is to stretch before bed! It slows down your nervous system and also helps you maintain your flexibility since you will be going right to sleep with those newly lengthened muscles. What’s better than increasing your flexibility and then relaxing for 6-8 hours? This method will not only give you a great nights sleep but also help you make flexibility progress that lasts!
